Live well, live full; pursue a good end in all that you do!
But can you do these things lacking your liberty?
A thousand generations of slaves will tell you otherwise. Five thousand years of history will educate you to the truth.
There is a value to liberty, to self-government, to the ability to control your own direction. This value is nothing when you posses it, and everything when you lack it.
Rarely is liberty quite what you believe it to be, but always do people desire it, and those that truly taste it will gladly keep that sweetness, that hardiness, that good sustenance over the hunger pains they experienced without their liberty.
You must ask yourself what you are willing to do for your liberty, my friends.
Are you going to lie down, taking the chains willingly? Will you close your eyes and wish the savagery away?
It’s true, to live at peace is a good thing; a thing to be pursued. And it is also good to be gentle toward all, but there is evil in this world, and we have been equipped to see it, and to recognize it, and to act upon our conscience, and stop it!
You must take your natural knowledge, that knowledge you came into this word with and increased with your experience, and you must stand up against what is wrong, what goes against what is good, what is destructive, what fails to be prosperous for human life; you must fight Evil!
You must Fight!
You must Fight!
And should you die in the service of Good, if you should die for others, for children, and their future; death will only be a new liberty. For God loves those who love His children; protect them, do not ruin their innocence, life is hard enough and cruel enough it does not need any help from someone who should know better.
Yes, peace is what we all would like to have, but in this fallen world there will be no peace until the End.
The only respite you will find for you and yours will be the protection you provide from the wicked and the ignorant. God willing, you will never need to raise a hand against another man, but God gave you the ability to know when justice is required, and when mercy will not be wasted on the wicked.
